HONOR Philippines says the HONOR X9d 5G has set a new company sales record following strong demand during its pre-order period. The company revealed that a single buyer at SM North EDSA placed an order for 250 units of the device, adding to the phone’s already high sales numbers.
According to HONOR Philippines, the brand did not ask about the purpose of the bulk purchase, citing privacy reasons, but said the order reflects the strong reception of the HONOR X9d 5G in the local market.
Why it Matters: Bulk purchases and early sales records are often used by brands to measure how well a product is being received. In this case, the early performance of the HONOR X9d 5G suggests that demand for the model is strong even before regular retail sales begin.
HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng said the company was surprised by the large single order and thanked customers for their support during the pre-order period.
The HONOR X9d 5G is currently available for pre-order at an introductory price of PHP 17,999 until January 23. Customers who pre-order also get a chance to win a Tesla Cybertruck, which HONOR says is valued at PHP 17 million. The device can be ordered through HONOR Experience Stores, partner stores, and online channels.
HONOR is also offering a payment option through Home Credit, where the HONOR X9d 5G can be purchased for as low as PHP 24 per day with an additional PHP 1,000 discount, payable for up to 18 months. This promotion runs until February 15, 2026.
