HUAWEI announced that the MatePad 12 X (2026), its new 4-in-1 productivity tablet with PC-level performance, will launch in the Philippines on November 27. The device is positioned for professionals, students, and creators who need a portable workstation for work, study, and content creation.

The MatePad 12 X (2026) supports accessories such as the Smart Magnetic Keyboard, HUAWEI Mouse, and the new M-Pencil Pro, allowing it to function as a 4-in-1 setup similar to a laptop. It runs WPS Office 3.0 with support for 42 file formats including Microsoft Office, making it suitable for editing documents, presentations, and spreadsheets with precision cursor control.
The tablet features the 12-inch 3rd Gen Ultra-Clear PaperMatte Display with nano anti-reflection technology, reducing glare and eye strain during long use. HUAWEI claims the screen cuts display sparkle by 50 percent compared to the previous model and works effectively in bright offices, cafés, and outdoor spaces. An improved cooling system is also included with 27 percent better performance than the 2024 model.
On the accessories side, the new HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro features 16,384 pressure levels and supports gestures such as pinch to open menus, rotate to adjust brush angles, and double-tap for tool switching. A new Star Ring button allows instant pairing and access to apps like HUAWEI Notes or GoPaint. It includes three interchangeable pen tips for painting, small-font writing, or drawing.
HUAWEI says these features aim to enhance productivity and creativity, making the tablet suitable for research work, presentations, project reviews, and digital art.
Starting November 21, buyers can avail of the “Pay PHP 500, Get PHP 3,000 OFF” offer at the HUAWEI Online Store. The balance must be settled by December 12. A PHP 2,500 Early Bird Voucher will also be available from November 27 to December 12.
Through Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop, a PHP 1,000 Early Bird Voucher will be available from November 21 to December 12 as well.
