Jackery solar generators officially arrive in the Philippines

Jackery has officially entered the Philippine market, bringing its line of portable solar generators and portable power stations to local consumers. The brand partnered with Cognetics Philippines as its official distributor, with initial sales rolling out online through gadget retailer Techroom.

Jackery Life Uninterrupted

Why it Matters: Power outages continue to impact work, online classes, and small businesses in various parts of the country. Portable solar generators offer a quieter and emission-free alternative to fuel-powered generators, particularly for homes, remote workers, and outdoor enthusiasts who require backup electricity.

Jackery was founded in California in 2012 and focuses on portable power solutions that combine battery packs with optional solar charging panels. The company is known for its Explorer series of power stations and SolarSaga solar panels designed for travel, emergency backup, and outdoor use.

Jackery Explorer 100 Plus Small But Mighty Powerhouse

For its local debut, the brand introduced the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus, a compact portable power station with a 99Wh capacity. It is positioned for charging small devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops at the same time. The unit uses LiFePO4 battery technology and an internal battery management system aimed at safety and longer battery lifespan.

Availability details shared during the launch show the Explorer 100 Plus offered at PHP 6,499 with store vouchers on Shopee and Lazada during the introductory period. The distributor also shared plans to expand availability to more areas in the Philippines through additional retail channels.

With solar generators slowly becoming an option for backup and mobile electricity, will Filipino households begin treating portable power stations as a regular essential instead of an emergency purchase?
