NTT DATA Payment Services has officially introduced ADAPTIS, its unified suite of payment solutions, in the Philippines. Following successful rollouts in Malaysia and Thailand, the launch highlights the company’s effort to deliver scalable and locally relevant payment innovations across Southeast Asia.

Why it Matters: As the Philippine digital economy grows rapidly, businesses of all sizes need payment solutions that are adaptable, secure, and easy to integrate. ADAPTIS combines in-store, online, enterprise, and financing tools into a single ecosystem, helping merchants—from sari-sari stores to large enterprises—accept payments more efficiently.
The ADAPTIS suite includes five core offerings:
- ADAPTIS In-Store for seamless retail transactions
- ADAPTIS e-Commerce for secure online payments
- ADAPTIS Financing to support business growth
- ADAPTIS Enterprise for scalable payment infrastructure
- ADAPTIS VAS (Value-Added Services) to optimize operations
“ADAPTIS integrates our solutions into one powerful ecosystem, designed to grow with businesses,” said Sean Hesh, Group CEO of NTT DATA Payment Services. Shinichiro Nishikawa, Head of Global Payments and Services Division at NTT DATA Japan, added that the platform combines local insights with global innovation to better serve banks, merchants, partners, and consumers.
The launch event featured a panel discussion, “No One Left Behind: Driving Change Through Inclusive Payments,” moderated by journalist Rico Hizon. Panelists explored how technology, regulation, and real-world merchant experiences can create a more digitally inclusive economy. Jay Tirona, CEO of NTT DATA Payment Services Philippines, emphasized that ADAPTIS is designed to make payments accessible, secure, and intuitive for all Filipinos.
The Philippines rollout follows NTT DATA Payment Services’ regional expansion and rebranding in November 2024 after acquiring GHL Systems Berhad. The ADAPTIS launch reinforces the company’s position as a leading digital payments provider in Asia.
How will ADAPTIS change the way small and large businesses in the Philippines handle payments?
