Why it Matters: The Philippines continues to be a major esports hub, and both League of Legends and VALORANT drew support from local fans. With two Filipino teams advancing to the international stage, the country remains competitive in the Asia Pacific scene.

Oasis Gaming faced Xipto Esports in the VALORANT match. The first game took place on Sunset, where Mark ‘Marky’ Tuling’s Yoru helped lead Oasis Gaming to a 13–5 win with 19 frags and two assists. Game 2 in Abyss showed another dominant stretch for Oasis Gaming. Jon Michael ‘tesseract’ Piga played Sova with precise utility and aim, pushing Xipto Esports into a 13–3 loss.

Xipto Esports turned things around in Game 3 on Corrode. John Timothy ‘JA’ Arone scored 31 frags to outpace the 23 frags from Oasis Gaming’s Jhian ‘Zeus’ Dela Vega, bringing the series to a fourth game.

However, Game 4 on Bind went back in favor of Oasis Gaming. Xipto’s tactics did not work as planned and were overwhelmed 13–6. Zeus once again stood out as one of the country’s top Raze players. Oasis Gaming lifted the Predator Shield and bagged PHP 200,000.

A VALORANT showmatch also took place earlier in the day between pro player Gian Carlo ‘Giansanity’ Abilla and Acer Ambassador Will Ashley. Team Giansanity included streamers Jillipuff and Shogun, while Team Will had Amara and Gabteezy. The match was played for fun, but Team Giansanity finished with a clear 13–3 result.
