Here are the 2020 entry-level phones from OPPO

OPPO has launched its newest entry-level smartphones, the OPPO A12 and A12e, in the country.

The more affordable A12e packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, dual rear cameras, and a 4230mAh battery capacity. Hardware is almost identical to last year’s OPPO A5s down to the brand’s old logo, and the notch even got bigger as it looks very similar to 2018’s OPPO A3s.

OPPO A12e specs:

  • 6.2-inch In-Cell IPS HD+ display, 720 x 1520px
  • 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450
    Adreno 506 GPU
  • 3GB RAM
  • 64GB internal storage, with dedicated microSD slot for up to 256GB

It’s surprising for OPPO to release a new phone that still features ColorOS 5 and Android Oreo right out of the box.

Meanwhile, the OPPO A12 is priced a thousand pesos higher but features a more modern Geometric back finish, a MediaTek Helio P35 chip, and Android Pie out of the box.
