Quad-camera phone under 9K!

A local retailer has spilled the beans on OPPO’s newest phone, the mid-range OPPO A31, in the Philippines.

The A31 runs on a MediaTek Helio P35 chip and features three cameras at the back led by a 12-megapixel main sensor. There’s also a huge 6.5-inch HD+ display and an eight-megapixel front camera in tow.

OPPO A31 specs:

  • 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display, 1600 x 720px
  • 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35
    PowerVR GE8320 GPU
  • 4GB RAM
  • 128GB Storage, expandable via dedicated microSDXC slot
  • Triple rear cameras:
    12MP f/1.8 wide
    2MP f/2.4 macro
    2MP f/2.4 depth
  • 8MP f/2.0 front camera
  • 4G LTE, Dual SIM (nano)
  • WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, FPS A-GPS BDS,
  • MicroUSB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack
  • Rear fingerprint scanner
  • ColorOS 6.1 (Android 9)
  • 4,230mAh battery

What’s unique about this phone is it’s OPPO’s lower mid-range phone to feature 128GB of internal storage right out of the box. There’s also a dedicated for a microSD card if that is still not enough. A 4,230mAh battery completes the package, though it’s unspecified if this features VOOC flash charging.

The OPPO A31 will be available this month for Php8,990 in official and accredited stores, as well as online portals.
