Why it Matters: Smartwatches have become more than just timekeepers. With health, fitness, and productivity features built in, many users now rely on them as daily companions. The OPPO Watch X2 Mini aims to balance portability and functionality while staying at a competitive price point.

The OPPO Watch X2 Mini has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with 466 x 466 resolution, 352 PPI pixel density, and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness for better outdoor visibility. It is lightweight at around 37.8 grams without the strap and carries an IP68 durability rating.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 wearable platform, paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The 354mAh battery delivers up to 60 hours of standard use, 36 hours under heavy use, and up to 7 days on power saver mode. A 10-minute charge gives 24 hours of use, while a full charge takes about an hour.

The smartwatch supports a wide range of health features such as heart rate and SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking with snoring risk assessment, stress and breathing management, women’s cycle tracking, fall detection, and emergency SOS. Fitness tracking includes popular sports like running, cycling, swimming, tennis, and even skiing.

Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.2 with support for Bluetooth calling, dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC. The watch is compatible with Android smartphones running version 9.0 and above with GMS support but does not work with iOS or Android Go devices.

Price and Availability: The OPPO Watch X2 Mini is now available in the Philippines. It comes in Glimmer Gold and Nebula Black, and priced at PHP 16,999.

With more brands releasing compact yet feature-rich smartwatches, will the OPPO Watch X2 Mini find its place among Filipino users looking for a balance of style and health-focused technology?
