Spotify launches Wrapped 2025 for users in the Philippines

Spotify has released its 2025 Wrapped experience, giving eligible users in the Philippines access to their personalized year-end listening recap inside the Spotify app. Wrapped highlights the music, artists, genres, and podcasts that shaped each user’s year, along with new features designed to offer deeper insights.

Why It Matters: Wrapped has become one of Spotify’s most recognized yearly releases. It often sets online trends, drives music discussions, and helps artists understand how they connect with listeners.

This year’s version introduces new stories and features. Listening Age compares a user’s musical taste with listeners in the same age group by looking at the release years of their most played tracks. Wrapped now includes Top Albums, showing the records users returned to the most. Some users may also receive a Podcaster Clip, a short message from one of their favorite creators.

Wrapped also adds a Fan Leaderboard, which shows users where they rank among listeners of their top artist, based on minutes streamed. Another new element is Clubs, which places listeners into one of six categories based on their habits. The feature shows how users fit into different listening communities.

Spotify also introduced the Listening Archive. It provides up to five snapshots of memorable listening days using AI. This story is available in English in select markets. A separate feature called Wrapped Party allows users to experience their year in music with friends in real time. It can be accessed through the Wrapped feed or by searching Wrapped Party.

Several returning elements are also included. Top Genres highlights the music styles users listened to the most. Top Song Quiz lets listeners guess their most played track. Top Artist Sprint shows how monthly rankings changed throughout the year. The Top Songs story includes a dedicated Your Top Songs 2025 playlist, which now displays how many times users streamed each of their top 100 tracks.
