Present at the event were Stephen Yu, President of Ardent Networks, and Ben Chen, TP-Link Country Manager, who both emphasized the value of the collaboration.

Why it Matters: Many groups continue to face challenges with network stability, surveillance coverage, and centralized management. The addition of Vigi and Omada to Ardent’s portfolio gives organizations more accessible options for building secure and scalable systems.

Under the partnership, the Vigi line is positioned to support those that need surveillance tools such as security cameras, NVR systems, and monitoring software. The Omada portfolio focuses on improving connectivity through managed access points, switches, and controllers that allow unified monitoring across different sites.

During the launch, both executives described the partnership as a strategic fit. Stephen Yu said the addition of TP-Link supports Ardent’s mission of delivering reliable and practical technology. He emphasized that TP-Link’s commitment to scalable and innovative network infrastructure aligns with Ardent’s direction, adding that he believes the partnership can achieve strong results through Ardent’s distribution capabilities and TP-Link’s proven technology.

Ben Chen expressed enthusiasm and noted that the collaboration marks an important point for TP-Link in the Philippine market. He shared that while TP-Link is widely known for its consumer routers, Omada has already overtaken the company’s consumer business in some regions. He added that working with a long-established distributor like Ardent can strengthen TP-Link’s presence, improve brand awareness, and support growth in enterprise and commercial segments.

When asked how the partnership will influence the existing partner ecosystem, Stephen Yu said the addition of Vigi and Omada can positively impact the partner community by giving them access to modern network infrastructure that balances advanced features with cost-effective deployment. He highlighted rising demand for stronger network setups, driven further by the growing role of AI, and noted that the Philippines still has significant room for improvement in network infrastructure.

He also shared that partners can expect competitive pricing without compromising on technology, making the lineup suitable for various use cases as organizations look to upgrade their systems.

Both companies said the partnership aims to help more organizations transition toward modern and secure digital environments. With connectivity and surveillance becoming essential across industries, will this collaboration encourage more local groups to adopt improved network and security solutions?
