vivo has officially announced the global launch of the vivo V70, positioning it as a camera-focused smartphone built for stage photography, travel, and everyday content creation. The device introduces a 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, AI-powered shooting and editing tools, a 6500 mAh battery, and the brand’s latest OriginOS 6 platform.

The vivo V70 features a triple rear camera system co-engineered with ZEISS. It includes a 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor and optical image stabilization, designed for clearer low-light zoom shots. Supporting it is a 50 MP ZEISS OIS main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, the device carries a 50 MP ZEISS group selfie camera with autofocus for sharper individual and group photos.
A new AI Stage Mode is introduced to enhance stage photography. Combined with AI image enhancement and portrait technologies, the system supports up to 10x zoom for distant subjects. The phone also supports 4K 60 fps video recording, marking the first time this capability appears in the V series. For post-production, AI Audio Noise Eraser allows selective removal of unwanted background sounds in recorded videos.
The device also includes several AI-based editing tools such as AI Magic Weather, AI Magic Landscape, AI Erase, AI Magic Move, AI Image Expander, and AI Color Adjustment. These features allow users to modify skies, remove unwanted subjects, adjust framing, and enhance colors directly on the device without external software.
Design-wise, the vivo V70 adopts an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame and a flat display with ultra-thin 1.25 mm bezels. It features a 6.59-inch 1.5K Ultra Clear OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 459 PPI pixel density. Security is handled by a 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanning 2.0 system, which supports unlocking even with wet fingers. The rear panel uses etched AG glass designed to resist fingerprints and scratches.
Color options include Golden Hour with a textured Sunset Glow design, Alpine Gray, Sandalwood Brown, Canary Yellow, and Authentic Black. The phone is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance and supports drop resistance of up to 1.8 meters.
Powering the device is a 6500 mAh BlueVolt battery paired with 90W FlashCharge support. The phone uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, alongside a 4200 mm² vapor chamber cooling system to maintain performance during gaming and heavy workloads.
The vivo V70 runs on OriginOS 6, which introduces features such as Origin Island, AI Search, AI Creation tools, AI Captions with real-time transcription and translation, and Gemini Assistant integration with Google. The system also supports cross-device functions like One-Tap Transfer and vivo Office Kit for file sharing between phones and computers. vivo states that the device will receive four generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
