ZOWIE, the esports brand under BenQ, has launched a new lineup of professional gaming peripherals in the Philippines, headlined by the U2 wireless mouse and the XL2586X 540Hz gaming monitor. The launch also includes updated versions of their popular ZA13 and EC2 mouse models, now available in wireless variants.

Why it matters: Wireless peripherals are becoming more favored in competitive gaming for their flexibility and reduced clutter. ZOWIE’s latest gear targets pro and aspiring esports players in the Philippines who want improved control and motion clarity without compromising on stability.
The ZOWIE U2 wireless mouse is built for claw-grip players and features a new symmetrical shape with inward curvatures for better finger positioning and multi-angle control. It uses a 3395 sensor with adjustable DPI (400/800/1600/3200) and USB polling rates up to 1000Hz. Weighing around 60g, the mouse also ships with an enhanced receiver for stronger signal reliability during gameplay.
ZOWIE also released wireless editions of its other shapes:
- The ZA13-DW, with a higher back hump, gives more palm support and helps with flick shots.
- The EC2-CW, an ergonomic option, is lighter and shorter, catering to various grip styles.
In display tech, the ZOWIE XL2586X gaming monitor brings a 540Hz refresh rate and Fast-TN panel technology to competitive players. It uses the new DyAc 2 motion blur reduction for clearer target tracking, which is particularly useful for fast-paced FPS titles.
All devices are now available through official ZOWIE online stores in the Philippines, including Shopee and Lazada.
Are these upgrades enough to meet the needs of Filipino competitive gamers?
