Esports gear brand BenQ ZOWIE has launched a new lineup of gaming monitors and wireless mice in the Philippines, specifically designed for professional players, particularly those who compete in first-person shooter (FPS) games like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant.

Why It Matters: In the world of esports, having the right equipment can make a significant difference in a player’s performance. This is especially true in the Philippines, where esports is rapidly growing in popularity. Monitors with high refresh rates and low motion blur can help players see enemies more clearly and react faster. Similarly, mice that fit a player’s grip style and offer precise tracking can improve accuracy. These new offerings from ZOWIE, now available in the Philippines, are designed to give professional and aspiring Filipino gamers an edge over their competition.
ZOWIE, known for its focus on performance and precision, has been developing esports equipment since 2008 and later joined forces with display expert BenQ in 2015. Their latest products aim to meet the high demands of competitive gaming in the Philippine esports scene.
ZOWIE’s new XLX+ Esports Monitor Series, now available in the Philippines, includes several models with different refresh rates: 600Hz (XL2586X+), 400Hz (XL2566X+), and 280Hz (XL2546X+). These monitors use a “Fast TN Panel” that ZOWIE says provides sharper and clearer images of moving objects compared to standard IPS panels. This helps reduce distractions from afterimages during fast action.
Additionally, the monitors feature “DyAc 2 Technology,” which is designed to further minimize motion blur with a new dual backlight design that also aims to reduce eye strain. The monitors also have a feature called “XL Setting to Share,” which lets players save and share their monitor settings easily.
On the mouse front, ZOWIE has released new wireless models in the Philippines tailored to different hand grips. These include the FK2-DW (for fingertip grip), S2-DW (for front claw grip), U2-DW (for back claw grip), and ZA13-DW (for palm grip).
Each mouse is designed to provide a comfortable and precise experience for its specific grip style.ZOWIE emphasized its commitment to research and development, noting the use of sports science research techniques to design its products. They take into consideration performance, comfort, and endurance during the design process.
The company also highlighted its involvement in major international esports tournaments such as VCT Pacific 2025, IEM Katowice 2025 CS2 Tournament, and eXTREMESLAND CS Asia Open, showcasing its dedication to the global esports community as well as its commitment to the Filipino players.
