Samsung Electronics has introduced its updated AI Home vision and new Bespoke AI appliances at the “Welcome to Bespoke AI” event in Seoul, Korea. The company aims to create a smarter home experience with AI-powered appliances and improved security features.

Why it Matters: Samsung’s AI Home integrates smart appliances with AI technology, making everyday tasks easier while improving energy efficiency and security.
The AI Home concept connects various devices across the home, allowing users to manage appliances more efficiently. Samsung is expanding its AI Home display, which was first introduced last year, to more products, including Bespoke AI Refrigerators. The new 9-inch AI Home screen in these refrigerators offers a compact alternative to the larger AI Family Hub display.
Samsung’s AI Home appliances aim to provide convenience, care, and energy savings. The AI Home display acts as a central control hub, allowing users to manage devices, check personalized information, and monitor their home using features like Daily Board and Map View. SmartThings integration also enables connection with third-party devices without needing an extra hub.
Security remains a priority for Samsung. The company is adding enhanced Knox security features to its Wi-Fi-enabled appliances, including Trust Chain for real-time security monitoring and Knox Vault for protecting sensitive data. Samsung is also introducing post-quantum cryptography (PQC) to safeguard against future cyber threats.
To extend the lifespan of appliances, Samsung offers Smart Forward, a software update service via SmartThings. This feature ensures that users receive new software updates without needing to buy new appliances.
Samsung’s new Bespoke AI appliances are now available for pre-order in the Philippines. Customers can get up to PHP 19,000 off and receive a free Galaxy A16 5G with the Bespoke AI SBS Refrigerator or a Galaxy Fit3 with the Bespoke AI Topload Washer until April 9, 2025.
