LG Electronics has launched its new xboom by will.i.am speaker lineup in the Philippines through the Pop Goes Boom event held at Xylo at the Palace. The event featured live performances, product demonstrations, and a K-pop dance battle.

Why it Matters: LG’s new xboom by will.i.am lineup aims to combine advanced audio technology with pop culture influences. Tuned by artist will.i.am, the speakers are designed for richer sound and wider usability, from home entertainment to portable listening.
The new LG xboom by will.i.am lineup includes the Stage 301, Bounce, Grab, and Buds. The Stage 301 features a 6.5-inch woofer, dual 2.5-inch midrange drivers, and karaoke-ready mic controls. The Bounce has dual passive radiators and twin dome tweeters for compact but powerful audio. The Grab is a portable tube-shaped speaker with a 16mm tweeter, while the Buds feature graphene-coated drivers, noise cancellation, and three microphones for calls.

The lineup supports Auracast, which links multiple xboom AI speakers for a larger soundstage. LG also showcased its XBOOM XL Series, XBOOM Go, and XBOOM RN Series during the event.

The launch featured performances by P-pop acts Zephanie and NEW:ID, as well as a K-pop dance battle judged by LG representatives and guest artist Wilson from NEW:ID. Dance group Principtium won first place, followed by Kairos and Psycho. Attendees also participated in the LG xboom AI Dance Challenge, with winners selected by audience applause.
Special guests included influencers Sandra Jung and Kristy Cho, athlete Mika Reyes, and streamer Bianca Yao with the Gamers’ Run Club.
The LG xboom by will.i.am speakers are now available in the Philippines. More details are available on LG Philippines’ official website and social media channels.
