The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League – Philippines (MPL Philippines) releases the new rules for selecting the Regular Season’s most valuable player (MVP).
This season 9, every caster will now be involved in nominating three (3) candidates based on the following criteria:
- The nominated player’s team is amongst the top two in the regular season;
- The nominated player should have won weekly MVP honors or had excellent player data during the regular season;
- The nominated player should have committed no serious violations.
The three (3) nominees will be ranked from 1-to 3, with 1 being the highest. The top rank will receive 5 points, and rank 2 and 3 players will be allocated 3 and 1 points, respectively.
The player with the highest cumulative points will be declared the Regular Season MVP and will be announced through MPL Philippines’ official Facebook page on April 12th.
