Uy, Philippines! Riot Games has announced that it will open a VALORANT Manila Server on August 19 alongside the release of patch 11.04. This will be the sixth server in the Asia Pacific Shard and is expected to improve gameplay for Filipino players.

Why it Matters: The Philippines has seen strong VALORANT growth over the past five years, with most players currently connecting through the Hong Kong server. While this setup has supported the local community, infrastructure limitations have caused higher ping and occasional instability.
Riot Games says the Manila server aims to lower ping, reduce instability, and improve connection quality for players in the country. It will be an additional option, so those who wish to stay on the Hong Kong server can continue to do so.
The company also confirmed that Premier access will not be affected. Top-performing Premier teams using the Manila server will still compete in the Asia zone under the Challengers Southeast Asia league.
Riot’s team is preparing the server for launch on August 19. Will you be switching to the Manila server when it goes live?
