Samsung has opened pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 Series in the Philippines, giving early buyers a chance to lower the actual cost of their upgrade. While the starting price of the Galaxy S26 is PHP 58,990, there are ways to stretch your budget further during the preorder period.

If you are planning to buy the most affordable model in the lineup, here is how you can score the cheapest Samsung Galaxy S26 series phone.
Why It Matters: Flagship phones continue to increase in price each year. Taking advantage of preorder offers such as free storage upgrades and trade-in discounts can significantly reduce the effective cost, especially for buyers who already own an older device.
Let’s start with the base Galaxy S26. The most affordable model in the lineup is the Galaxy S26 with 256GB storage priced at PHP 58,990. It already comes with a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 120Hz refresh rate, Exynos 2600 processor, triple rear cameras, and a 4,300mAh battery. For many users, this configuration is already more than enough for daily use, gaming, content creation, and social media.
Take advantage of the double storage upgrade: During the preorder period from February 26 to March 17, Samsung is offering a double storage promo. Buyers can get the 512GB variant for the price of the 256GB model.

This means you can pay PHP 58,990 and receive the 512GB Galaxy S26 instead of the 256GB version. That instantly increases your storage capacity without paying the higher SRP of PHP 72,990. If you plan to keep the phone for several years, this offer adds long-term value without increasing upfront cost.
Use the trade-in program: Samsung is also offering up to PHP 16,000 guaranteed trade-in discount when you exchange an eligible device.
If your current phone qualifies for the full PHP 16,000 discount, the effective cost of the Galaxy S26 256GB drops from PHP 58,990 to as low as PHP 42,990. If you combine this with the double storage promo, you could end up with a 512GB Galaxy S26 at a significantly lower net price.
Consider multi-buy offers carefully: There is also a multi-buy offer that gives up to 30 percent off Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Watch when purchased with the S26 Series.
While this does not directly lower the phone’s price, it can reduce the overall cost if you were already planning to buy accessories.
Final tip: If your goal is to get the cheapest possible Galaxy S26 Series phone, the best strategy is:
- Choose the base Galaxy S26 256GB
- Use the double storage preorder promo to get a 512GB variant at no extra cost
- Maximize the trade-in discount of up to PHP 16,000
- Add the PHP 5,000 exclusive discount voucher from the online registration site before the launch
- Use Credit Card promos to further get discounts and even cashback. See their offers here.
With these combined, you can lower your effective spending while getting more storage than the base model. You can already get the upgraded 512GB storage variant of the Samsung Galaxy S26 for as low as roughly PHP 32,100 with the aforementioned ways to make your purchase cheaper.
With pre-orders running until March 17 and official availability starting March 18, will you upgrade now or wait for future promos?
