OPPO’s newest F-series smartphone is surprisingly here: Welcome the OPPO F15, now official in India with great specs to boot.
After reportedly axing the F series in favor of the Reno line, OPPO has brought back the F series with the F15. It sports quad cameras at the back, with a 48-megapixel shooter leading the pack. OPPO claims that you can now capture 3-8cm macro shots with its new rear camera setup, as well as less shaky videos with EIS on board.
OPPO F15 key specs:
- 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 2400 x 1080px

There’s also an upgrade with its hardware. Despite still having the MediaTek Helio P70 chip, OPPO managed to put in a whopping 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage. It’s also the first F-series phone to finally sport a USB Type-C cable, complete with the company’s VOOC 3.0 fast charging tech.
The phone is also the first in the series to sport an AMOLED display. OPPO touts its improved in-display fingerprint scanner 3.0 in the phone, as it’s said to read your finger and perform functions faster than before. What’s surprising here is it’s coming out with Android Pie and ColorOS 6.2. We’re expecting immediate updates on the phone given that ColorOS 7 (based on Android 10) has been rolling out already for many of their recent phones. A 4000mAh battery completes the package.
Available in Lightning Black or Unicorn White colors, it’s now available for prepurchase in India’s Amazon site for INR19,990 or roughly Php14,400 when converted. The phones will ship out starting January 24th,
