Upon purchase of this device, you’ll find yourself looking at the phone itself, some documents for manuals and safety guides, a clear case, a USB Type-C cable, and the 66-watt fast charger included once you unbox it.
Our unit is in a Turbo black color variant that features a straightfoward-designed device with a prominent camera bump at the upper-left part for the three camera modules (two of them placed in one area to make the device look like it only has two cameras). The mineral shine is great as it also gives the device character.
The front, on the other hand, has the 6.44-inch Full HD display in a bezel-less design, save for the notched area up atop where the 16-megapixel selfie camera is located. The call speaker is right at the upper edge of the device.
Let’s now look at the sides. We have the dual SIM card slot, the microphone, and the loudspeaker grille. This device, surprisingly, does not offer a microSD card slot for additional storage, nor a 3.5mm audio jack for wired audio.
At the right side are the power and lock button, and the volume keys. They slightly protrude against a chamfered-edged side frame that offers a seamless feel between the front glass part and the polycarbonate back part.
This device offers a good chipset in the Snapdragon 778 5G, plus 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. vivo also gave the device some unique features to enhance their gaming experience including the Ultra Game Mode, which optimizes the device for better gaming.
We’re happy so far with our experience. Our Genshin Impact and HyperFront mobile gaming experience has been smooth with close to no frame skips or lags, and a smooth experience thanks to the 90Hz refresh rate on its display.
The vivo T1 5G is now available as a Lazada-exclusive device for PHP 16,999 (Buy here). We’re using this device right now to play games, and we’ll be happy to share our experience in our upcoming full review.
