Canon Marketing Philippines is bringing its new back-to-school campaign to students nationwide, offering affordable printing options and rewards through its Campus Tour 2025.
Why it Matters: As students face higher academic pressure while managing limited budgets, Canon is promoting cost-efficient printers and rewards programs that can support both schoolwork and everyday needs.
At a media event, Canon showed how its PIXMA and MAXIFY MegaTank printers help students save on printing costs while offering features like wireless connectivity, two-sided printing, and compact designs. These printers use high-yield ink bottles that can print up to 21,000 color pages or 9,000 black pages in economy mode.
Canon also introduced new rewards and promos:
- Canon Rewards Points: Redeemable at over 400 merchants nationwide via Giftaway e-gift certificates.
- Canon App: Lets students track and use points for basic expenses.
- Ink Bundle Promo: Get a free GI-71s ink set with selected PIXMA MegaTank printers (G2730, G3730, G4770, G3780, G4780) until September 30, 2025.
- Ink Price Drop: Lower prices for ink bottles to make printing even more affordable.
Canon President and CEO Anuj Aggarwal shared that the campaign aims to respond to the real needs of students, from printing academic materials to personal creative projects.
The event also featured psychologist Riyan Portuguez (also known as “Your Millennial Psychologist”), who spoke on student mental wellness and how it plays a key role in academic performance.
Campus Tour Schedule
Canon’s Campus Tour began at De La Salle University and will continue across several schools:
- July 3-4: Centro Escolar Integrated School
- July 9-10: De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, Taft Campus
- July 23–24: FEU High School
- Week of August 4: University of Santo Tomas
- Week of August 11: Assumption College
- Week of August 18: Ateneo de Manila University
- Week of August 25: Miriam College & Lyceum of the Philippines University
Students who attend these events can try Canon’s printers for hands-on demos, learn about wireless printing, and create printed materials for schoolwork.
