DITO Telecommunity, the country’s youngest telecommunications provider, has been recognized as the Fastest Mobile Network in the Philippines by independent analytics firm Opensignal. The announcement highlights DITO’s dominance in 14 key categories, outpacing competitors in overall and 5G speeds.
Key Achievements in 2024
- Fastest 5G Download Speeds: DITO recorded an impressive 287.2 Mbps, surpassing Smart’s 147.5 Mbps and Globe’s 95.2 Mbps.
- Fastest Overall Download Speeds: DITO led with 34.6 Mbps, ahead of Smart (28.6 Mbps) and Globe (20.9 Mbps).
- Expanded network coverage to 86.3% of the population after its fifth and final technical audit.
- Reached 14 million subscribers, solidifying its position as a key player in the Philippine telecom industry.
