LG Philippines aims to take your work office or gaming space to the next level with the launch of two new displays called the LG UltraWide and the LG UltraGear monitors.
The LG Ultrawide Monitor aims to be your next primary display for productivity with a 21:9 display aspect ratio, and a 178-degree of field view for better space. Multitasking is also a breeze with features such as an upscaled Work Efficiency Screen Split that can customize and split your windows according to your preferences, as well as a Picture-in-Picture (PIP) removing the need to switch tabs with window overlay features. The displays are also great for creatives with its 99% SRGB color profile, while the IPS display technology ensures that it will be seen without any color changes whichever angle you look at.
While it’s being marketed as a monitor mainly for office productivity, the display can also be used for gaming with its 5ms response time and a Game Mode that gives you profiled and customizable experiences for your gaming needs.
The LG UltraGear Monitor, on the other hand, aims to be the perfect gaming monitor with a whopping 144Hz refresh rate, which makes animation and motion in games and multimedia content smoother than usual. It also boasts of a 1-millisecond refresh time which should be ideal for quick-paced gameplay.
It also features AMD Radeon Freesync, which provides smooth, fluid motions through its Adaptive Sync Technology. This enables you to eliminate stutters in games with its Variable Refresh Rates. Dynamic Action Sync, which minimizes input lag so the gameplay in RTS and FPS games is more responsive and gives you a feel of real time combat. These features are on top of other LG-made features such as a Black Stabilizer for deepening blacks on dark scenes, and a Crosshair feature that enables accuracy in FPS games by placing the striking point at the center of the display.
