The wait is over as SB19 and Honor of Kings officially dropped “BURN THE FLAME,” the official theme song for the Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC) 2025. The track is now available on major music platforms.

The powerful hip-hop-rock anthem celebrates the spirit of competition, perseverance, and unity among the 16 teams participating in KIC 2025. The track quickly climbed to the top of iTunes Philippines, securing the number one spot on both the Top Songs and Top Albums charts.
“BURN THE FLAME” highlights SB19’s signature mix of harmonies and high-energy rap verses while blending modern production with traditional Filipino percussion instruments such as the kulintang. This musical approach reflects both Filipino culture and the global reach of the Honor of Kings esports community.
The lyrics, “I’m a warrior, burning burning up the flame. We are the KINGS. It’s HONOR SHOWTIME!” serve as a rallying cry for players and fans alike. The EP includes English and Taglish versions, as well as instrumental and karaoke tracks, encouraging fans to join in and perform their own renditions. A music video is set to premiere soon.
Behind the anthem is a collaboration between local and international talents. Filipino artist and producer Brenan Espartinez handled the lyrics, arrangement, and vocal production, bringing the sound of Filipino pride into the mix. The track was mixed by four-time Grammy nominee Chris Galland, known for his work with Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, and several K-pop acts including LE SSERAFIM and Stray Kids.
Galland’s mix balances the heavy beats with cultural instruments, creating a sound designed to fill esports arenas worldwide. Together with producers KayAndMusic, POPKIN, Neil “YUNG BAWAL” Raymundo, and WILDMNDS, the anthem delivers a sound that mirrors the excitement of battle and the drive to win.
The Honor of Kings International Championship 2025 will feature 16 of the world’s top teams competing for a total prize pool of US$1,000,000. The Group Stage will take place from November 14 to 18 at Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City, followed by the Knockout Stage from November 20 to 23. The tournament will conclude with the Grand Finals on November 30 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City.
