You can now do multiple transactions with GrabPay anytime, anywhere, at no cost thanks to a partnership between Grab, the leading super-app in Southeast Asia, Banco de Oro (BDO), Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), Unionbank, SM, and 7-Eleven. With these Grab’s collaborations, you can now make instant cash-ins to your GrabPay wallet for free by simply linking your bank accounts or by visiting the nearest SM mall or 7-Eleven store.

“Our partnership with three of the biggest and most respected banks and leading commercial establishments in the Philippines means using GrabPay has become easier and more convenient. Now, consumers have the freedom to shop and pay without worries. Using GrabPay is a rewarding way to pay for your transactions because it is the only e-wallet that gives users loyalty points. GrabRewards points earned from GrabPay can be used to Pay with Points for future transactions, or redeem exciting offers from the GrabRewards catalog,” said Erwin Yamsuan, Country Lead for Grab Financial Group Philippines.

Cash in Within Seconds

With BDO, BPI and Unionbank, you can fund your GrabPay account in seconds as soon as you link your app to your bank accounts. To link your BDO, BPI or UBP account to GrabPay:

  • Step 1: Tap on ‘Payment’ on the bottom navigation bar of your Grab app
  • Step 2: Once you are redirected to the following screen, ‘Cash In’
  • Step 3:  Select  ‘Linked Bank Account’ among the cash in options
  • Step 4: From there, simply choose across BDO, BPI, or Unionbank, input your online banking details on a one-time basis only, and proceed to link your account!

Once linked, you can cash in instantly! With GrabPay, there is no need to enter your online banking details every time you wish to fund your account. This saves you time, energy, and even money as GrabPay does not charge you any transfer fees. You will only need to enter a one time password (OTP) that will be automatically sent to your Grab registered mobile number. This is an added security feature to protect your account.

Cash in Over-the-counter

Those who don’t have bank accounts or those who prefer in-person cash-ins can do so at any of the business centers of SM’s network of 360 Malls, Markets, and Servicio Centers and almost 3000 7-Eleven branches in the Philippines.

You can go to the nearest 7-Eleven branch and follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Go to Payment section of the app
  • Step 2: Go to Cash In
  • Step 3: Tap ‘In-Store’ cash in method
  • Step 4: Choose ‘7-Eleven’
  • Step 5: Enter the desired cash-in amount and tap Submit
  • Step 6: Show the generated barcode to the cashier and pay

You can also select ‘SM Business Center’ in the app and show your Payment reference code to the agent in any SM Business Center and pay the amount that you wish to cash in to your GrabPay wallet account.

Shop More

GrabPay users can also use the service to make food orders through GrabFood, do some grocery shopping via GrabMart and even send gifts to friends and family using GrabExpress. They can also use their wallet for non-Grab merchants. GrabPay is accepted across thousands of establishments nationwide ranging from malls (SM Supermalls, SM Department Store, SM Supermarkets, SM Parking, Ace Hardware) to fashion, beauty, and wellness retailers (H&M, Uniqlo, Watsons, Healthy Options), and to cafes and restaurants (Starbucks, Wildflour, Pink’s, Conti’s, Toby’s Estates), and many more.

GrabPay has also enabled secure and seamless cashless online payment and checkout across thousands of websites and partner apps including Zalora, BeautyMNL, Shein, Shop SM, Power Mac, Kumu, Goodwork and Taxumo.

Buy Prepaid Load and Pay Bills

You can do so much more with your GrabPay wallet. You can purchase prepaid loads from leading mobile networks such as Smart Telecom and pay bills instead of making over-the-counter payments. GrabPay is accepted by leading partners such as Meralco, Maynilad, Cignal TV, PLDT, Globe and Manila Water, to name a few. You can also use GrabPay to pay for government agencies such as NBI, Pag-Ibig Fund, and DFA.

Get Reward Points

Your shopping experience using GrabPay is made all the more enjoyable, as many transactions  let you earn points that you can earn and redeem for discounts, products, or services through GrabRewards.

Make Secure Transactions

You can do your transactions worry-free thanks to GrabPay’s superior security settings. The wallet is supported by a 24-hour customer experience team so you can seek help anytime you need. As an added security feature, GrabPay employs automated rules, AI machine-learning models, and teams of risk analysts to detect and guard against suspicious activities. GrabPay wallets are also equipped with Grab PIN and biometric authentication that must be entered prior to any changes on device and location, updates to user’s profile information, transferring to banks, and additional activities that could compromise the user
