ZTE Corporation has revealed a full range of AI-focused technologies at MWC Shanghai 2025 under the theme “Catalyzing Intelligent Innovation.” The new offerings cover network infrastructure, industry-specific applications, and smart devices for home and personal use.

AI + Networks: Upgrading infrastructure with intelligence
ZTE presented several AI-native network solutions aimed at helping operators improve performance and efficiency:
- Full-scenario coverage solution: Better signal coverage for weak spots and emerging tech like VR and autonomous driving.
- Low-altitude solution: Supports drone and aerial services, now used in over 100 projects.
- SAGIN solution: Extends wireless connectivity to air and space with 5G and satellite tech.
ZTE also introduced:
- AIR RAN and AIR Net: AI-powered tools to boost 5G energy savings and automate network operations.
- AI-optical campus and HI-NET: Tools for smarter, more efficient enterprise and city-level networks, including innovations in CPEs, OTN switches, and AI-native routers.
AI applications: Bringing AI to education, healthcare, and city systems
ZTE highlighted how AI is transforming various sectors:
- In education, ZTE partnered with Zhejiang University to offer AI courses using its AiCube system.
- In healthcare, AiCube shortens diagnostic report generation to minutes with over 95% accuracy.
- In automotive, AI speeds up design work with Dongfeng Motor.
- In smart cities, AI is helping with safety, transport, and public management—from fire detection in ports to rail system automation and district-level network monitoring.
ZTE also introduced its intelligent computing ecosystem with new servers, custom chips, and green data center solutions. Its prefabricated modular DC setup cuts build times by 40%, while its power solutions have helped reduce 6 million tons of CO₂ emissions across 5G base stations.

AI terminals: Smart homes and personalized devices
For households, ZTE showcased its AI Home concept with:
- AI FTTR and AI Wi-Fi 7: Smart internet for daily routines
- Smart displays and AI companion robots: For fitness, childcare, and personalized services
- Flexible screens and cloud PCs: For entertainment and remote work
On the consumer side:
- RedMagic remains focused on gaming with improved performance and cooling
- Nubia Z70S Ultra offers camera-focused features for younger users
- AI phones and 5G home devices aim to bring advanced tech to more people
ZTE says it will continue to focus on “Connectivity + Computing” to support AI adoption across industries and everyday life.
