Why it matters: As competition for skilled talent continues to intensify in the business process outsourcing (BPO) industry, companies are placing greater emphasis on employee development, workplace culture, and career growth. Employer recognition programs highlight organizations that invest in their workforce while supporting long-term business growth.

The details: The award, endorsed by CHRO Asia, recognizes organizations for excellence in human resources practices, leadership development, workplace culture, and the effective use of marketing and communications to strengthen employee engagement.

NQX said the recognition reflects its long-term commitment to building a people-first workplace where employees are supported throughout their careers.

For the past decade, the company has focused on bringing quality employment opportunities closer to local communities. It became the first BPO company to establish a local headquarters in Rizal, creating career opportunities for thousands of Filipinos while allowing many employees to work closer to their families and communities.

According to the company, this approach has helped expand access to quality jobs outside traditional business districts while contributing to local economic development.

“As we continue to grow as an organization, this recognition affirms what we’ve always believed that our people are our greatest strength,” said Karen Diane Llana, Vice President for Marketing & Communications of NQX Philippines.

“This award belongs to our Qmunity, whose passion and commitment bring our culture to life every day. We remain focused on creating a workplace where everyone feels supported and empowered to succeed,” she added.

The bigger picture: Employee experience has become an increasingly important area of investment across the BPO industry as companies compete to attract and retain talent. Organizations are expanding workplace programs focused on professional development, employee well-being, and leadership training to strengthen retention and improve overall business performance.

NQX said earning the recognition for three consecutive years reflects its continued investment in employee growth and workplace initiatives while maintaining operational excellence for its clients.

The company also continues to broaden its business offerings beyond its traditional customer experience services.

For businesses: NQX is expanding its capabilities to support additional industries, including healthcare, financial services, and global capability center (GCC) operations. Building on more than 35 years of customer experience expertise and its history of serving Canadian businesses, the company is combining its workforce with technology and AI-enabled solutions to help organizations improve customer engagement and operational performance.

What’s next: NQX plans to continue growing its workforce and service portfolio while investing in employee development programs that support both business expansion and career opportunities for Filipino professionals.

The Bottom Line: NQX Philippines’ third consecutive recognition as one of the Philippines’ Best Employer Brands highlights its continued focus on employee development, workplace culture, and community-based job creation as it expands its customer experience business into new industries.
