HONOR has launched its new Magic3 Series that will sit at the top of its smartphone lineup which packs the latest smartphone technologies and designs by the brand. In addition, this is the first flagship smartphone by HONOR since its independence from Huawei. The HONOR Magic3 Series comprises the HONOR Magic3, HONOR Magic3 Pro, and HONOR Magic3 Pro+.

The HONOR Magic3 Series features an 89 degree Super Curved Display with a 10-bit screen that displays 1.07 billion colors and supports HDR10+. The outer shell has a Super Curved Nano Crystal Shield and a Nano-Ceramic body which is also certified with IP68 water and dust resistance up to 1.5m and for 30 minutes. At the back, it is equipped with a camera design called “The Eye of Muse” and features a concave surface. Paying tribute to the classic structure of a camera shutter, the HONOR Magic3 Pro+ features a unique hexagonal camera design.

Camera-wise, it is packed with an HONOR self-developed HONOR Image Engine that is AI-powered. In addition, it is equipped with computational photography while the HONOR Magic3 Pro+ comes packed with a quad-camera setup, featuring a 64MP Monochrome Camera, a 50MP Wide Camera, a 64MP 126-degree Ultra-Wide Camera, and a 64MP Periscope Telephoto Camera.

The 50MP wide camera has a 1/1.28-inch color sensor with Full Pixel Octa Phase Detection (PD) AutoFocus. The 64MP Periscope Telephoto Camera has a 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom supported by an optical image stabilizer (OIS). Meanwhile, the 64MP 126-degree ultra-wide-angle lens is paired with a 7P optical zoom lens and Macro shots as close as 2.5cm are also possible.

On the video side of things, the HONOR Magic3 Series has Magic-Log and cinematic Level 3D LUT (Look Up Table) video capabilities. The log format allows users to enhance their videos with cinematic color tones and visuals in HDR. The cinematic 3D LUTs help users create color hues fit for the cinema. It can also capture 4K HDR content and has three Omni-directional microphones for clear audio capture.

It boasts the new Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G that is paired with OS Turbo X that contains a Low-latency engine, Anti-aging Engine, Smart Memory Engine that improves fluency, anti-aging, and allows more apps to run in the background. It also has GPU Turbo X graphics acceleration technology that reduces power consumption and improves performance. Thanks to the Superconductive Hexagonal Graphene technology, temperatures are also kept low inside. The LINK Turbo X makes use of Wi-Fi and cellular networks together to deliver download speeds of 6.1Gbps.

Other features include a 4600mAh battery that supports HONOR SuperCharge at 66W or SuperCharge Wireless at 50W. The Magic3 Pro and Magic3 Pro+ can also be used as a power bank to charge up other devices with Wireless Reverse Charge. Moreover, it is equipped with a 3D ToF front Camera for a 3D Face ID Unlock.

The HONOR Magic3 comes in Golden Hour and Blue Hour colors which are made from synthetic leather, in addition to Black and White. Price starts from EUR 899 (PHP 53,660 converted). The HONOR Magic3 Pro comes in Golden Hour, Black, and White and starts from EUR 1,099 (PHP 65,598 converted). The HONOR Magic3 Pro+ comes in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White and starts from EUR 1,499 (PHP 89,473 converted).
