HONOR X5 Plus arrives in PH, its most affordable phone yet

HONOR has unveiled its latest offering, the HONOR X5 Plus, for consumers in the Philippines. Priced at PHP 5,490, this smartphone provides an affordable choice for those seeking a practical and feature-rich device.

The HONOR X5 Plus runs on Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1, offering a straightforward user experience. It supports dual SIM functionality, allowing users to manage two SIM cards simultaneously.

One of its notable features is the 6.56-inch HD+ TFT LCD display, with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a pixel density of approximately 269ppi. The inclusion of a 90Hz refresh rate enhances the display’s responsiveness.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and an IMG GE8320 GPU. It offers 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card for those who need additional space.

Photography capabilities include a 5-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear cameras are complemented by an LED flash for better low-light photography.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock for enhanced security. The device also comes with a single loudspeaker and a headphone jack, catering to audio preferences.

In terms of connectivity, the HONOR X5 Plus supports HSPA+ and 4G LTE. It offers dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and precise location services through GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS. The USB Type-C port simplifies charging and data transfer.

The smartphone, available in Cyan Lake and Midnight Black colors, measures 163.32 x 75.07 x 8.35mm and weighs 188g. It is powered by a 5,200mAh non-removable battery that supports 10W charging.
