After years of inactivity, Lenovo has relaunched its smartphone portfolio in the country with three new devices, the K5 Play, K5 Pro, and the S5 Pro.
The K5 Play offers the lightest hardware with a Snapdragon 430 chip, dual rear cameras, and a fingerprint scanner. Lenovo’s ZUI is coming and it’s skinned over Android 8 Oreo.
Meanwhile, the K5 Pro features a more powerful Snapdragon 636 chip and has 18W fast charging. It also features two cameras on both front and back parts.

Lenovo’s new smartphones may have been released internationally in 2018, but they’re offering it at more affordable prices this time around. The K5 Play gets a PHP 3,990 price tag. You can get two variants of the K5 Pro for PHP 5,990 (4GB+64GB) and PHP 6,990 (6GB + 64GB). These phones will be on sale starting May 26.
Meanwhile, the S5 Pro will also be released with two variants for PHP 7,490 (6GB + 64GB) and PHP 8,490 (6GB+128GB) and will be available for sale in June.
Lenovo is also said to release more phones in the coming weeks, including the presumed local arrival of the Motorola Razr foldable phone. Before this re-launch, the company’s last release in the Philippines was the Lenovo K8 series in 2017.
