Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G, expanding its A-series lineup with AI-powered features, improved durability, and extended software support. The new devices will be available in the Philippines starting March 17, 2025, at Samsung Experience Stores and partner retailers, and on the Samsung Online Store by March 24, 2025.

The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G come with Google’s Circle to Search, allowing users to search directly from their screen by circling text or objects. They also introduce a new music recognition feature that identifies songs playing around or on the device.
Both models feature a 50MP main camera, while the A56 5G adds a 12MP ultra-wide lens and Nightography enhancements for better low-light photos. The A56 5G also introduces Best Face, which helps users create the perfect group shot by selecting the best expressions from a motion photo.
Samsung has extended software support on the Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G with six years of Android OS and security updates, ensuring long-term usability. The devices have 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED displays with up to 1200 nits brightness and stereo speakers for an immersive experience.
The 5,000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, while the A56 5G is powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset and the A36 5G runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform. Both phones include IP67 water and dust resistance, Corning® glass protection, and Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced security.

How much is the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G? In the Philippines, the Galaxy A56 5G is priced at PHP 25,990 for the 8+256GB variant and PHP 23,990 for the 8+128GB version, which is available exclusively in the e-store. The Galaxy A36 5G costs PHP 21,990 for the 8+256GB variant and PHP 19,990 for the 8+128GB e-store version.
As part of pre-orders running until March 16, customers can buy a PHP 500 Samsung Reservation+ voucher and use it to get a PHP 1,500 discount on the Galaxy A56 5G or A36 5G.
