The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has announced a systems maintenance happening this weekend.
We received an email that on February 22, 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM, many of their banking systems will be temporarily unavailable. This includes their online banking, mobile app, BizLink and ELink platforms, ATMs, CAMs, and Debit Card services will be temporarily unavailable.
That just basically means you can’t withdraw money, check your accounts in-app, and do anything else. Likewise, you can’t do anything bank-related in their branches, as all branches will be closed during the weekend until February 23.
Despite the maintenance, their credit and prepaid card payment services will remain accessible during the maintenance period. Customers are advised to plan their weekend transactions so they will not be affected by the said scheduled maintenance.
