TCL Electronics has introduced the A400 Series in the Philippines, a new lifestyle television lineup that combines art-inspired design with smart entertainment features. The series includes the A400M and A400 Pro, both designed to blend into modern living spaces while offering premium display and audio technologies.

Why it Matters: As televisions become a central part of home interiors, manufacturers are placing greater emphasis on design alongside performance. TCL’s A400 Series aims to serve both purposes by functioning as an entertainment device and a decorative display that can showcase digital artwork when not in use.

According to TCL, both the A400M and A400 Pro feature an ultra-slim design, QD-Mini LED display technology, Art Gallery Mode, and a built-in ONKYO 2.0 Hi-Fi Sound System.

“Our A400 Series is designed to elevate home entertainment while complementing modern living spaces,” said Maxi Chen, Senior Product Manager of Brownline at TCL. “Every detail is engineered to enhance the viewing experience while fitting naturally into today’s homes.”
Designed for modern homes: The A400 Series is built around a gallery-inspired concept that allows the television to double as a digital canvas. When idle, users can display hundreds of preloaded artworks or choose from more than 100,000 AI-generated images covering various artistic styles, from classical paintings to impressionist-inspired creations.

The A400 Pro features an anti-reflection Matte HVA Panel designed to reduce glare and comes with a wooden frame for a more gallery-like appearance. Meanwhile, the A400M uses a traditional high-contrast HVA Panel and is finished with a black frame.
Display and AI features: TCL’s QLED technology utilizes Quantum Dot materials and a high light-transmittance film designed to improve optical efficiency while reducing overall power consumption. The company says the technology can reproduce more than one billion colors, revealing greater detail and brightness across different types of content.
Powering the experience is the TSR AiPQ Processor, which combines TCL’s proprietary image processing algorithms with AI capabilities to optimize picture quality at the pixel level. The processor works alongside the company’s AI platform to enhance color, depth, and clarity in real time.

The A400 Series also incorporates AI-driven features that automatically optimize picture and sound while supporting smart interaction and AI-assisted content generation, creating a more personalized viewing experience.
Built-in ONKYO audio: Audio is handled by an integrated ONKYO 2.0 Hi-Fi Sound System, bringing home theater technology directly into the television without requiring external speakers. TCL says the partnership delivers immersive sound that complements the premium display experience.
Availability: The TCL A400 Series is now available through authorized TCL dealers nationwide. The A400M with a black frame is exclusively available through Abenson, while the A400 Pro with a wooden frame is exclusively available through SM Appliances.
Would you choose a television that doubles as a digital art display, or do you prioritize picture quality and smart features above design?
