TECNO is bringing the CAMON Slim 5G to the Philippines, with pre-orders set to run from October 2 to 15, 2026. The new smartphone focuses on a slim 6.39mm design while packing a 6,000mAh battery, 5G connectivity, and a 144Hz AMOLED display.
The Philippine promotional material also reveals a PHP 2 million cash-prize campaign, pre-order-exclusive gifts, and discounts of up to PHP 3,000.
Why it Matters: The CAMON Slim 5G takes a different approach to the usual thin-phone design. Despite its 6.39mm profile, TECNO has fitted the device with a 6,000mAh battery and 45W charging. It also comes with a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and a 50MP main camera.
The details: The CAMON Slim 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is designed for smoother scrolling and animations, while also supporting wet-touch functionality.
Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G processor. The device comes with 8GB of RAM and is available with up to 256GB of internal storage. TECNO also supports extended RAM to provide additional memory when needed.
The phone runs on Android 16 with TECNO’s HiOS 16 user interface.
For photography, the CAMON Slim 5G uses a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera with optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while a 32MP camera is used for selfies.
The camera system includes features such as AI Shutter, AI EIS, Super-Zoom FlashSnap, and Multi-Focal-Length Portrait. TECNO also includes its Universal Tone imaging technology.
The bigger picture: The CAMON Slim 5G is not only focused on being thin. TECNO has also equipped it with a 6,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging, giving the phone a larger battery than what is commonly associated with slim smartphones.
The device also comes with multiple durability protections, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. It is designed to provide protection against dust and water, while its wet-touch functionality allows the display to remain usable in wet conditions.
Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, and eSIM support. The phone also features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Between the lines: TECNO is also promoting the CAMON Slim 5G alongside the MagBadge, a small accessory with a 1.73-inch AMOLED display.
The MagBadge can be used as a rear-camera preview screen, allowing users to see themselves while taking photos using the main camera. It can also function as a remote shutter and display photos.
For Filipinos: The TECNO Camon Slim, in a 8GB/256GB configuration, is priced at PHP 27,999 in the Philippines. An online exclusive 128GB variant is also available for PHP 24,999. Pre-order period runs from October 2 to October 15, 2026.
Pre-order customers will receive exclusive gifts worth PHP 10,000, including a TECNO MagBadge worth PHP 5,999, a 60-day free replacement, a 13-month care warranty, and three years of 256GB cloud storage. You can also get it at discounted prices at TECNO’s official stores online at Shopee (BUY HERE), Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
