TCL showcases commercial HVAC innovations at PHILCONSTRUCT 2026

TCL Philippines highlighted its latest commercial and residential air conditioning technologies during PHILCONSTRUCT 2026, held from June 25 to 28 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The company used the country’s largest construction trade show to present its latest HVAC solutions, including its T-AI Inverter Technology, Smart VRF Systems, and next-generation cooling products designed for energy efficiency and modern climate control.

Why it matters: As the Philippines continues to invest in infrastructure and sustainable building projects, demand for energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is growing. TCL’s latest commercial HVAC lineup aims to address these requirements by offering intelligent cooling solutions for offices, commercial establishments, hospitality spaces, and residential developments.

The details: PHILCONSTRUCT 2026 carried the theme “Responsible Construction for a Resilient Philippines,” highlighting sustainable construction practices and resilient infrastructure. The annual exhibition gathered more than 1,000 local and international exhibitors, alongside builders, engineers, architects, contractors, and developers exploring the latest construction technologies.

TCL’s booth focused on its commercial HVAC portfolio, led by its proprietary T-AI Inverter Technology and Smart VRF Systems. The company said these technologies are designed to improve energy efficiency while delivering consistent indoor comfort and simplified climate management for large-scale installations.

“Participating in PHILCONSTRUCT, one of the largest and most established expos in Southeast Asia, has substantially boosted TCL’s brand equity and market standing in the HVAC industry. The premier trade show served as the strategic launchpad for TCL to demonstrate the capabilities of its innovative T-AI Technology and Smart VRF Systems to key industry players,” said Vincent Tobias, Assistant B2B Sales Manager for Air Conditioner at TCL Philippines.

Among the featured products was the TCL CoolPro Industrial+ Series 360° Round Cassette, a commercial ceiling-mounted air conditioning solution designed for offices, restaurants, retail establishments, and hospitality venues. The system features a circular airflow design for 360-degree cooling, AI-powered efficiency features, enterprise smart controls, air purification functions, and components built for continuous commercial operation.

TCL also showcased the FreshIN 3.0 Ultra, its latest residential air conditioner equipped with AI-powered features. The unit includes AI Comfort Plus, a Dual-Cycle Fresh Air System, smart controls, advanced air purification, and AI offline voice command functionality, allowing users to access key controls even without an internet connection.

For larger commercial applications, TCL demonstrated its Smart VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems, available in Modular, Mini, and Individual configurations. According to the company, the systems combine Full DC Inverter technology, high-efficiency heat exchangers, self-adaptive adjustment technology, and high energy efficiency ratings to support a wide range of commercial and industrial cooling requirements.

The bigger picture: HVAC technologies took a prominent role during PHILCONSTRUCT through the HVAC/R Philippines exhibition, which focused on energy-efficient and climate-responsive building systems. The event also featured TechnoForum sessions covering engineering standards, environmental, social and governance (ESG) integration, risk mitigation, and resilient construction strategies.

As developers increasingly prioritize operational efficiency and sustainability, intelligent HVAC systems have become a key component of modern building design. Features such as inverter-driven compressors, AI-assisted operation, centralized controls, and advanced air purification are becoming standard considerations for both commercial and residential projects.

Between the lines: TCL has traditionally been recognized in the Philippine market for its consumer televisions and home appliances. Its presence at PHILCONSTRUCT reflects the company’s continued expansion into the commercial HVAC sector, where it is targeting business customers, developers, contractors, and building managers with enterprise-grade cooling solutions.

The exhibition also provided TCL an opportunity to demonstrate its technologies directly to industry professionals responsible for specifying HVAC systems in new construction projects.

For Filipinos: Rising electricity costs and increasing demand for sustainable buildings continue to drive interest in energy-efficient cooling systems across the country. Smart HVAC technologies that optimize power consumption while maintaining indoor comfort can help businesses reduce operating expenses and support greener building practices.

Commercial establishments such as hotels, restaurants, office buildings, and mixed-use developments are also looking toward centralized climate control systems that can improve efficiency without sacrificing occupant comfort.

What’s next: TCL is expected to continue expanding its commercial air conditioning portfolio in the Philippines as demand grows for intelligent HVAC solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial developments. Events such as PHILCONSTRUCT provide manufacturers with opportunities to introduce new technologies to architects, engineers, contractors, and project developers before they are deployed in future construction projects.

The Bottom Line: TCL used PHILCONSTRUCT 2026 to strengthen its presence in the Philippine HVAC market, showcasing AI-powered air conditioning technologies and Smart VRF systems aimed at supporting more energy-efficient and sustainable residential and commercial buildings.
