Seasons will be a primary focus in NBA 2K22 and all rewards and will be free and redeemable. Seasons were first introduced in NBA 2K21, a new way to level up and earn rewards within MyTEAM.
Seasons has a major role in NBA 2K22, whether it’s MyCAREER, MyTEAM, or The W Online. Players will be able to access the new content and earn rewards just by playing at no additional cost. Explore the City (at PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X/S) and the neighborhood (at PlayStation 4/ Xbox One). Leveling up will earn players more rewards that are refreshed every six weeks at the start of a new season. All year long, Seasons will offer new content.
MyCAREER
Season 1 unleashes Go-Karts in the City and Neighborhood as the Grand Prize and a way to roam through unexplored regions and will be available once Level 40 is reached. In addition, Inline Skates can be used as a mode of transportation once Level 30 is reached. Both rewards are available once the player meets the level requirements. Each Season, a new Grand Prize will be refreshed and become redeemable.
For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, NBA 2K22 will set sail to the Caribbean in Season 1, where players will showcase their skills topside on a cruise ship, and on some of the world’s most picturesque island courts.
Reaching Legend status is the crowning jewel on NBA 2K22. So, to become a Legend in NBA 2K22, players need to reach Level 40 in four different Seasons.
“First Fridays” in Seasons features new songs on the soundtrack every Friday throughout the Season. In partnership with the largest music labels in the world, featured songs are both up-and-coming artists and world-renowned musicians, joining the likes of Travis Scott, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Young Thug, and more. New music will continue to be added to Club 2K (at PlayStation 5/Xbox Series S/X) throughout the course of the year, for more information visit 2K Beats.
All year, players have the opportunity to freshen up their wardrobe with new apparel. Every Season, apparel from the hottest brands will be featured as well.
MyTEAM
MyTEAM in NBA 2K22 gets players to earn XP with new and familiar Agendas, while also earning new rewards from Season & Lifetime Agenda Groups. Also, unlock every mode in MyTEAM: Domination, Triple Threat, Limited, Unlimited, Draft, and more. Every Season in MyTEAM has new Challenges & Events, with more coming this holiday. Climb to the top of Season 1 to earn Pink Diamond Carmelo ‘King of New York’ Anthony and start building a team.
The W Online
With The W Online (available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X only), MyPLAYERs online can play head-to-head and earn new rewards such as VC, clothing bundles, badges, nail polish, and more. Rewards will be updated and refreshed at the start of every new Season.
