Riot Games has revealed Hush, a new Duelist Agent for VALORANT who uses telekinesis to manipulate combat utility, disrupt enemies, and create opportunities for aggressive plays. The Chinese operative is scheduled to join the tactical shooter on October 27, 2026, introducing a playstyle built around precision, mobility, and control over ability trajectories.

Hush will be the first Agent released since the launch of the game’s new Agent Mastery system. Players can also check her reward track in-game for the available unlocks.
Why it matters: Hush introduces a different approach to the Duelist role by allowing players to redirect certain abilities after throwing them. Instead of simply deploying utility and committing to the next move, players can adjust an ability’s path based on enemy positions and changing situations.
The details: Hush’s abilities revolve around manipulating objects and opponents through telekinesis. Her kit combines crowd control, flashes, and movement tools to create openings for herself and her team.
Her passive ability, Telekinesis, allows her to pick up weapons and the Spike from an increased distance. She can also interact with switches from farther away, adding utility beyond direct combat.
Displacement lets Hush throw a projectile or prepare it before redirecting it toward her crosshair. The ability explodes when it hits a surface or after a delay, pulling players toward its center. Players who collide with a surface or another player are concussed. Displacement resets every two kills, according to Riot’s fact sheet.
Flashbulb follows a similar throw-and-redirect mechanic. Hush can launch the ability or prepare it before changing its direction. It explodes on a surface or after a delay, flashing players who are looking at it.
Flow gives Hush an additional movement option. She instantly creates an anchor and, if she is airborne, briefly levitates in place. After a delay, she propels herself toward the anchor, allowing her to adjust her positioning.
Her ultimate-style ability, Suspension, lets her send a projectile forward while steering it with her crosshair. Reactivating the ability or pressing the fire button again detonates it, levitating all players caught by the effect.
The bigger picture: Hush’s abilities combine several tools commonly important to Duelists: disrupting opponents, creating opportunities to engage, and repositioning to gain an advantage.

Her ability to redirect Displacement and Flashbulb is a central part of the design. Players can adjust the path of their utility after committing to a throw, potentially creating unexpected angles or changing how opponents respond to an attack.
Flow adds another layer by letting Hush coordinate her movement with her abilities. Together, these mechanics are designed to reward players who can manage timing, positioning, and ability trajectories.
Between the lines: Riot’s design approach places emphasis on player creativity rather than requiring every ability to follow one fixed use. Nicholas Smith, game designer for Agents and Weapons at Riot Games, said the team wanted to explore a Duelist built around precision and control.
Smith explained that telekinesis gave the developers room to design abilities that players could manipulate instead of simply throwing them at opponents. He also expects players to discover interactions and strategies beyond the uses anticipated during development.
This means Hush’s effectiveness may depend heavily on how players learn to combine her utility and movement, rather than relying on straightforward ability deployment alone.
For Filipinos: VALORANT players in the Philippines can look forward to trying Hush when she releases on October 27, 2026. Her toolkit may appeal to players who enjoy aggressive positioning and experimenting with ability timing, although mastering her redirect mechanics will likely require practice.
As the first new Agent since the launch of Agent Mastery, Hush will also have a reward track that players can explore in-game.
What’s next: Hush is scheduled to arrive in VALORANT on October 27, 2026. Players can check the game for her Agent Mastery reward track and the full list of unlocks.
The Bottom Line: Hush brings telekinetic control to VALORANT’s Duelist roster, with abilities that let her redirect utility, disrupt opponents, and propel herself into new positions. Her October 27 release will give players an opportunity to explore a kit designed around precision, timing, and creative plays.
