PLDT’s TNT is still the top prepaid telco in Q2 2021, according to investor relation documents WalasTech has obtained.
The orange brand leads the whole pack of prepaid chunks with 42.7 million active subscribers, experiencing an 11-percent growth year-on-year from the same period last year, while Ayala-led Globe Prepaid and TM following suit, both with nearly 40 million customers.
The surprising thing here: Globe Prepaid has now overtaken TM by a mere 40 thousand margin to become the new #2 prepaid brand. Globe Prepaid’s numbers also include GOMO, according to the filed sheets.
Q2 2021 Subscribers | Q2 2020 Subscribers | Difference | |
---|---|---|---|
