Huawei Continues Laptop DNA of Aesthetics, Power, Innovation

Beautifully designed powerful machines

Marking its step on the PC market, Huawei first introduced its MateBook series at the Mobile World Congress on February 21, 2016. Five years later, the brand has been consistent in upholding the signature DNA of the MateBook line: Superior aesthetics, power and innovation.

They have been well-known for the understated design of their products that are bold and harmonious at the same time. A testament to this is the recently launched Huawei MateBook 14s 2021 which is the brand’s newest and first-ever Laptop+ in its MateBook lineup, joining the MateBook D Series and MateBook E Series.

The Huawei MateBook 14s 2021 boasts an unpolished CNC sandblasted metallic texture which gives off a seamless design, and is the very first MateBook to sport a splash of color: Spruce Green. Aside from this, the MateBook 14s 2021 also features powerful internals such as an 11th Gen Intel Core processor that is configurable to Core i5 or Core i7 with Intel Evo Platform and Intel Iris X graphics. An easy switch to performance mode (Fn+P shortcut) is also available which boosts the CPU TDP to 45W.

What differentiates the MateBooks 14s 2021 to its siblings is its capability to run mobile apps thanks to the Huawei Mobile App Engine. This allows users to download apps from the Huawei AppGallery which offers a wide range of mobile applications from every category such as instant messaging, video-sharing platforms, games, education, health care, etc. Some known apps available are Mobile Legends, Grab, TikTok, Lazada, Shopee, Viber, and WattPad among others.

Huawei is also offering deals to its customers until January 2, 2021 when they purchase any participating Huawei MateBook device. They can enjoy Freebies worth PHP 3,379 that includes a Water Bottle and a Wireless Charging Lamp (in select stores). The Huawei MateBook 14s 2021, Huawei MateBook 14, and Huawei MateBook AMD are priced at PHP 68,999, PHP 59,999, and PHP 50,999, respectively. Meanwhile, the Huawei MateBook D14 and D15 2021 comes in different iterations with varying processors and are priced from PHP 31,999 to PHP 46,999.
