Lenovo Philippines’ social media pages are hinting of a possible mobile comeback with the K10 Plus, also known as the Z6 Lite.

The global laptop brand seeks to bring back its footing in the mobile business by offering a slew of new devices that are originating from China. The K10 Plus, or Z6 Lite, offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. It also has a triple camera setup at the back of the phone.

Lenovo K10 Pro / Z6 Lite Key specs:

  • 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS display, 2340 x 1080px, 409ppi
  • 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 710
    Adreno 616 GPU
  • microSD up to 256GB (shared slot)
  • Triple rear camera setup:
    16MP
    8MP telephoto
    5MP depth
  • 16MP front camera
  • Dual-SIM (hybrid)
  • USB Type-C
  • Fingerprint scanner (rear)
  • 4,050mAh battery w/ fast charging

It’s unusual to see a mid-range phone focusing on telephoto lenses nowadays as most have moved on to ultrawide modules, and it’s refreshing to see. A possible downer here is the use of a hybrid dual SIM card setup, which may make dual-SIM users sway away.

The brand is now asking a poll on their Facebook page on which variant would suit you better. There’s a variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Php10,990, while a beefier 6GB+128GB combo will apparently be sold for Php12,990. We hope these prices are official already as they seem to be competitive for the phones they want to bring in.

Also to note: The last Lenovo mobile device released in the country is the K8 series in 2017. In any case that the brand decides to re-enter the Philippine mobile market this year, it will be pushing through a slew of intense mid-range competition from fellow Chinese-originated brands such as Huawei, Xiaomi, Realme, OPPO, and Vivo, and other contenders such as Samsung and Cherry Mobile at the given price points. Would you place your bet on Lenovo this time around? We’ll see soon.
