We’ve learned that Hong Kong-based smartphone brand Tecno Mobile is will soon commence its operations in the Philippines.
The said announcement came from the same group that carries Infinix smartphones in the country, referring to them as a ‘sister group’ in their Facebook group posts. Some phones teased to be launched include the Spark 5 Pro with quad rear camera setup and a smartphone with a pop-up camera which seems to be the Canon 15 Premier.

Tecno has primarily focused its business in Africa and South Asian markets, where it had considerable market share after releasing several devices in the past few years. No price has been given yet for the Tecno Mobile Spark 5 Pro, nor its availability which we expect to be full online-only like how they did with Infinix.
Update (July 15): A TECNO representative has confirmed that they will indeed launch in the country in the coming weeks, with August being the earliest.
