Why it matters: The new Zenbook 14 gives Filipino users several processor options across different price points while keeping the same focus on portability, OLED displays, AI performance, and battery life. It is also one of ASUS’ latest Copilot+ PC offerings, with dedicated NPUs for AI workloads.

The details: The ASUS Zenbook 14 is available with three processor platforms. The Intel version, UX3480AA, comes with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processor and an NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. The AMD version, UX3480KA, goes up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 345 with a 50 TOPS NPU, while the Snapdragon UX3480QA uses a Snapdragon X processor with a 45 TOPS NPU.

All three versions are certified as Copilot+ PCs and are designed to support AI-powered features for productivity, search, content creation, and other everyday tasks.

The Zenbook 14 weighs as little as 1.1kg and uses an all-metal chassis. Its lid uses ASUS’ Ceraluminum material, which gives it a ceramic-like finish while being designed to resist scratches, smudges, and everyday wear.

The new generation is offered in three nature-inspired colors: Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral, and Zabriskie Beige. At launch, Intel and AMD configurations will be available in Arctic Blue, while the Snapdragon configuration will initially be offered in Komodo Coral. The Snapdragon version in Zabriskie Beige is scheduled to arrive later in Q4 2026.

Battery life is rated at up to 33 hours, depending on configuration and usage. The laptop also supports fast charging and comes with a compact USB-C charger that can be used with other compatible devices.

ASUS has also updated the thermal system, adding a larger fan and refined airflow to improve heat dissipation. The system supports up to 35W TDP, which ASUS says is a 25% increase over the previous generation. Dust protection is also included to help maintain consistent operation.

Display configurations include a 14-inch WUXGA OLED panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display offers up to an 89% screen-to-body ratio, providing more vertical space for work and other content.

The Zenbook 14 also features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, a larger touchpad with smart gestures, and a backlit keyboard.

For connectivity, the laptop includes USB-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack, allowing users to connect common peripherals without relying heavily on dongles.

ASUS is also introducing the ZenMouse MD202 alongside the new Zenbook 14. The wireless mouse features a Ceraluminum top cover and is available in Moher Gray and Scandinavian White.

The ZenMouse MD202 supports both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity and can connect with up to four devices. Its Track-on-Glass sensor is designed to provide tracking across different surfaces.

The mouse has a rechargeable battery rated for up to seven months of use. Its USB-C fast charging can provide up to 16 hours of use after one minute of charging. Through the MyASUS app, users can customize shortcuts and adjust sensitivity from 800 to 4200 DPI.

The bigger picture: ASUS is offering the Zenbook 14 across three processor architectures rather than limiting the lineup to a single platform. This gives users more choice between Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon-based systems depending on their preferred software environment, performance requirements, and battery priorities.

The inclusion of dedicated NPUs across the lineup also reflects the growing shift toward AI-capable laptops. Instead of relying entirely on cloud-based processing or the CPU and GPU, supported AI workloads can use the NPU for more efficient on-device processing.

The combination of a 1.1kg starting weight, OLED display, and claimed 33-hour battery life also keeps the Zenbook 14 focused on users who regularly move between home, school, office, cafés, and other locations.

Between the lines: The different configurations have a fairly wide price range. The Snapdragon version starts at PHP 76,995, while the AMD lineup starts at PHP 86,995 and the Intel lineup starts at PHP 106,995.

The Intel range also includes a higher-end Core Ultra 9 386H configuration with 24GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB SSD, priced at PHP 129,995.

The Snapdragon and AMD models, meanwhile, offer a lower entry point while retaining 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, 512GB of storage, and WUXGA OLED displays.

This makes the Zenbook 14 lineup less of a single configuration and more of a family of laptops aimed at different budgets and processor preferences.

For Filipinos: The latest ASUS Zenbook 14 is now available nationwide through official ASUS Exclusive Stores.

The lineup starts at PHP 76,995 for the Snapdragon model, while the AMD models start at PHP 86,995 and the Intel models start at PHP 106,995.
