Highbrow has officially launched Dragon Village 3 in the Philippines, bringing the latest numbered entry in its long-running mobile dragon-collecting series to local players with full English language support.

Developed and published by Highbrow, Dragon Village 3 arrives 12 years after Dragon Village 2 and has already surpassed 2 million global downloads since its release.
Why it matters: Dragon Village 3 gives Filipino players access to a mobile RPG built around collecting, breeding, and raising dragons, while adding village management, real-time PvP, raids, and customization systems. The game is also designed so that progression does not depend entirely on spending.
The details: Dragon Village is Highbrow’s flagship intellectual property, with more than 20 million cumulative downloads worldwide. Dragon Village 3 is the first official numbered sequel in the series in more than a decade.
The game follows the slogan “Easy to Collect, Deep to Master,” with systems designed to make collecting dragons accessible while giving experienced players room to build specialized teams.
Dragon Village 3 uses a pixel art visual style, while important moments such as Draw sequences feature full illustrations. The story takes place 14 years after the events of the original Dragon Village and brings back familiar characters including God Dragon and Darknix alongside a new character, Selora.
The main gameplay loop revolves around collecting, breeding, and raising dragons. The series’ 7.0 Rank System returns alongside redesigned Orb and Gem progression systems.
Orbs determine the skills that a dragon can use, while Gems allow players to customize six core stats. This means two players using the same dragon can develop it differently depending on how they build and raise it.
The game also expands beyond traditional combat-focused mobile RPG gameplay through its Village system. Players can decorate their own Villages, meet other Tamers in the Plaza, and visit other players’ Villages.
Combat centers on an Element Type matchup system. Highbrow has expanded the number of elemental matchups, making team composition and tactical decisions an important part of battles.
Arena Ranked Match is the game’s real-time PvP mode, where players make strategic decisions even before combat begins through a ban-and-pick system.
Other activities include Underground Castle, a multi-stage dungeon; World Boss raids, which allow players to work together against powerful enemies; and Guild War, which combines cooperation with competitive gameplay.
The bigger picture: Dragon Village 3 is designed to make its progression systems less dependent on spending. Every dragon can be obtained through gameplay, including breeding and Raids.
Cosmetic items such as outfits and skins are also separated from character statistics. These items are intended for customization and self-expression rather than providing additional combat advantages.
Highbrow has also kept graphic content to a minimum, allowing the game to appeal to a wider range of players.
New players can receive growth support through features such as the 7-Day Mission, which provides rewards and helps players start collecting and raising dragons from the beginning.
Between the lines: The game’s depth comes from how players develop their dragons rather than simply collecting the strongest available characters. The Orb and Gem systems allow players to specialize dragons based on their preferred strategies, while the Element Type system adds another layer when building a team.
The ban-and-pick phase in Arena Ranked Match also means competitive players need to consider their opponent’s choices before a battle begins.
At the same time, the Village and social features give players activities outside combat, creating a broader gameplay loop around collecting, customization, exploration, and interaction with other Tamers.
For Filipinos: Dragon Village 3 is now available for free on the App Store and Google Play in the Philippines, with official English support.
The language support should make the game’s story, menus, missions, and gameplay systems easier for Filipino players to understand, particularly for those who are new to the series.
Players can also start with the 7-Day Mission rewards and gradually acquire dragons through gameplay rather than needing to immediately spend money.
What’s next: Highbrow says Dragon Village 3 will continue receiving regular updates with new dragons, Orbs, and events.
An October update will introduce a tech tree system to the Breeding Laboratory, alongside World Raid content and a Halloween seasonal event.
The developer also plans to gradually add more cooperative features that allow multiple Tamers to play together, as well as additional PvP modes.
Highbrow CEO Won Se-yeon said the company plans to continue listening to players in the Philippines while delivering new dragons, stories, combat content, and cooperative features.
The Bottom Line: Dragon Village 3 is now available for free in the Philippines, bringing Highbrow’s dragon-collecting RPG to local players with full English support. The game combines breeding and collection with customizable dragon builds, real-time PvP, raids, village management, and guild content, with more updates and multiplayer features planned.
