OPPO Find X10 Series global launch set for October

OPPO has confirmed that its latest flagship smartphones, the Find X10 Series, will make their global debut on October 21 in Mallorca, Spain. The new lineup will introduce major camera upgrades, including up to three 200MP rear cameras, alongside OPPO’s next-generation LUMO True Image Engine and Hasselblad imaging technology.

The Find X10 Series is being introduced under OPPO’s “Hasselblad True-to-Life Camera” concept, with the company focusing on more natural detail, color, and tone in mobile photography.

Why it matters: The Find X10 Series marks a major push by OPPO into high-resolution mobile imaging, with the Find X10 Pro Max introducing what OPPO calls the industry’s first triple 200MP camera system.

The details: The Find X10 Series will consist of the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max, with both models combining flagship hardware with OPPO’s latest computational photography technology.

The standard Find X10 features a category-first dual 200MP camera system co-developed with Hasselblad. The Find X10 Pro Max takes this further with three 200MP cameras covering the ultra-wide, main, and telephoto focal lengths.

OPPO says its LUMO True Image Engine is designed to make better use of the camera hardware. The system combines OPPO’s computational photography technology with the natural tone rendering of Master Mode and color information captured by the True Color Camera.

The company says the approach is intended to produce more authentic detail, accurate colors, and natural tones, particularly in areas such as skin tones, fine textures, and scene contrast.

The Find X10 Pro Max also features a new LUMO Camera Island with a matte silver metallic finish. The camera module includes the True Color Camera and a dual-flash system, with knurled detailing and Hasselblad’s matte orange accent ring.

The overall design uses what OPPO calls a Borderless Design, with One-Piece Sculpted Glass flowing into the camera module to create a more seamless transition around the camera bump.

Find X10 will be available in Glacier Blue, Glow Coral, and Mist Grey. The Find X10 Pro Max will come in Titanium Grey and Luna White.

The bigger picture: OPPO is also giving the Find X10 Series a significant video upgrade. The Find X10 Pro Max supports 4K video recording at 120fps and 8K recording at 30fps across all three of its rear cameras. The Find X10 offers the same video capabilities through its two 200MP cameras.

The series also introduces Open Gate Capture, which uses the camera sensor’s full imaging area when recording. This gives creators more room to crop and reframe footage later for different formats, including landscape and portrait video.

This could be useful for creators who want to capture one piece of footage and adapt it for different social media formats during editing.

Between the lines: The Find X10 Series will also be powered by new MediaTek flagship chipsets. The Find X10 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M, while the Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first smartphones to use the 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro.

OPPO is pairing the processors with large 8,000mAh Silicon-Carbon batteries on both models. The company claims the batteries can provide up to two days of typical use on a single charge.

OPPO also says the batteries are designed for long-term durability, retaining more than 80% of their original capacity after five years of typical use.

For Filipinos: OPPO has not yet announced Philippine pricing or local availability for the Find X10 Series, but we’re expecting it to be a lot more expensive due to the ongoing hardware price increases.

The global launch will take place on October 21 in Mallorca, where OPPO is expected to reveal the complete specifications, pricing, and availability of the new flagship smartphones.

For Filipino users following the Find X lineup, the launch should provide the first complete look at what OPPO is bringing to the global market before local availability details are announced.

What’s next: Beyond the camera hardware, the company is expected to provide more details about the MediaTek chipsets, 8,000mAh batteries, ColorOS 17 features, and the availability of the two models in different markets.

Both smartphones will run ColorOS 17, which introduces OPPO’s Living Flow Design and AI Mind Pilot with Agent Mode. The latter connects agentic AI with files and photos stored on the device, allowing users to perform more complex tasks through a single prompt.

The Bottom Line: The OPPO Find X10 Series is shaping up to be a major camera-focused flagship lineup, with the Find X10 offering dual 200MP cameras and the Find X10 Pro Max pushing the hardware further with three 200MP sensors.

Combined with Hasselblad collaboration, the LUMO True Image Engine, 4K 120fps and 8K video recording, flagship MediaTek processors, and 8,000mAh batteries, OPPO is putting imaging and battery life at the center of its next flagship generation.

More details, including official pricing and availability, will be revealed at the global launch on October 21.
