realme is preparing to bring a new smartphone lineup to the Philippines, marking the local debut of its P Series. The upcoming realme P4 Series focuses heavily on battery life, with one model claiming what the brand says is the country’s first smartphone with a 10,001mAh battery.

The announcement positions the lineup toward users who spend long hours gaming, streaming, browsing, and multitasking on their phones, with battery endurance taking center stage.
Why it Matters: Smartphone battery capacity has steadily grown over the years, but breaking the 10,000mAh mark in a mainstream smartphone could signal a shift toward ultra-endurance devices for users who prioritize longevity over slimmer designs.
Leading the lineup is the realme P4 Power, which packs a 10,001mAh battery. realme says the device supports 80W fast charging and 27W reverse charging, allowing it to charge other devices when needed. The company also claims up to eight years of battery health retention and notes that the device carries TÜV Rheinland 5-Star Battery Certification.
Joining it is the realme P4x, which features an 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Meanwhile, the realme P4 Lite is set to arrive with a 7,000mAh battery, making it another battery-focused option in the lineup.
While full specifications remain under wraps, the teaser suggests that the new series will prioritize endurance and everyday reliability rather than focusing solely on flagship-level performance.
Pricing, exact availability, and the official Philippine launch date have yet to be announced. With battery life becoming a bigger deciding factor for buyers, could the realme P4 Series find an audience in the local market?
