TECNO has unveiled the CAMON Slim 5G, bringing the CAMON series’ imaging capabilities to a 6.39mm-thin smartphone with an artistic design, 50MP Sony LYTIA camera, practical AI features, and 5G connectivity.
The new device combines a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED 144Hz display, 6,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G chipset, and multiple durability features in a slim body.

The details: At just 6.39mm thin, the CAMON Slim 5G carries TECNO’s swan-neck curve design inspired by ballet dancers and automotive exteriors.
The phone comes in five artistic colorways: Burgundy Red, Neo Mondrian, Matisse Black, Van Gogh Blue, and Rebel Pink. Each finish uses a different visual and material treatment, including fiberglass, photochromic technology, fluorescent accents, and patterned gradient coatings.
The Neo Mondrian variant uses photochromic technology that changes from minimalist white to a Mondrian-inspired color-block design under ultraviolet light, while the Van Gogh Blue finish recreates the swirling appearance of The Starry Night.
50MP Sony LYTIA camera: The CAMON Slim 5G features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C Ultra-Night Main Camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. A closed-loop ball motor provides faster autofocus, while a triple stabilization system combines OIS, AI EIS, and AI Shutter to help capture clearer images in low-light and action scenarios.
TECNO’s Super-Zoom FlashSnap uses AI to automatically capture moments without requiring the user to press the shutter. It supports up to 2x telephoto snap shooting with shutter speeds as fast as 1/11236 second.
The camera also supports 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm focal lengths for portraits, alongside TECNO Universal Tone technology for more accurate skin-tone rendering.
TECNO is also introducing the Mag Badge, a magnetic accessory featuring a built-in battery and a 1.73-inch AMOLED display. Connected through Bluetooth, it can serve as a photo gallery badge, remote shutter control from up to 10 meters away, and selfie assistant with camera preview and camera-switching functions.
The CAMON Slim 5G comes with AI features covering photography, productivity, education, and lifestyle. AI Snap Poster can remove the background from product photos and place items into selected themes, while AI Pet Together combines separate photos of users and their pets into a single portrait.
AI LightMaster 2.0 can remove shadows, flares, and reflections from photos. For education and work, AI Recording Notes transcribes recordings into structured notes and synchronizes whiteboard photos with corresponding moments in the audio.
The phone also includes AI Class Schedule, which can import course schedules from screenshots, organize them with color coding, and display them through a widget. AI Healthy Eating can analyze food photos to estimate calories and nutrients and provide meal recommendations.
The CAMON Slim 5G carries IP69K/IP69/IP68/IP66 protection ratings for water and dust resistance, with support for underwater photography. It has also passed MIL-STD-810 certification for shock and drop resistance.
The phone features Wet & Oily Hand Touch Recognition 2.0, Rain Touch, and Waterproof Case Touch, allowing users to operate the device in conditions such as rain, after workouts, or while using a waterproof case.
The CAMON Slim 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G, an 8-core chipset designed to balance performance and power efficiency.
TECNO is also promising five years of security updates and three major OS upgrades, with TÜV SÜD certification for 60 months of sustained fluidity. Despite its slim 6.39mm profile, the CAMON Slim 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery for extended daily use.
For Filipinos: TECNO says the CAMON Slim 5G is rolling out across various markets, with local pricing and availability to be announced. Eligible consumers in select markets can also receive a three-month trial of Google AI Plus with 2TB storage at no additional cost.
