vivo Philippines is giving consumers another way to own selected vivo smartphones through its refurbished phone program, offering professionally inspected and serviced devices at a more accessible price point.

Unlike ordinary second-hand phones, refurbished vivo units undergo inspection, cleaning, and necessary repairs by vivo customer service professionals before being offered for resale. The program also includes warranty support for added peace of mind.
Why it matters: Refurbished phones give consumers an alternative to buying brand-new or ordinary second-hand devices. With professional refurbishment, clear classifications, and warranty coverage, selected vivo smartphones can become more accessible to budget-conscious buyers.
The details: Refurbished vivo phones can come from devices previously used by KOLs or ambassadors, as well as store display and demo units. Once returned, these devices are processed by vivo customer service professionals before being relisted for sale.
Rather than being sold as-is, refurbished units are inspected, cleaned, and repaired as needed before being made available to another customer.
Two types of refurbished vivo phones: vivo currently classifies its refurbished devices into two categories.
- Pre-owned (LDU): These are older demo or ex-display units that have been refurbished for resale. Their product codes carry a two-digit suffix, while both the device and packaging are marked with a “Pre-owned” label.
- Near New: These are units returned within 15 days and subsequently refurbished for resale. Their product codes carry a one-digit suffix, while the device and packaging carry a “Near New” label.
Refurbished vivo phones come with a standard one-year warranty, with the warranty start date determined by the unit’s classification and available proof of purchase. For units purchased with proof of purchase, the warranty begins on the purchase date indicated on the receipt. For Pre-owned units without proof of purchase, the warranty start date is based on the device’s IMEI binding, activation, or sold date.
For Near New units without proof of purchase, the warranty starts on the 90th day after the production date, in accordance with vivo’s warranty policy.
Consumers can purchase refurbished vivo phones through the official vivo e-store by selecting Products and then Refurbished Phones. Refurbished units can also be purchased through a vivo Store by selecting Shop and then Refurbished Phones. Filipino consumers can currently find refurbished versions of the vivo X300 FE and vivo X300 Ultra through vivo’s refurbished phone program.
For Filipinos: The refurbished program gives consumers another option when shopping for a vivo smartphone, particularly those looking to access selected models at a potentially more accessible price than buying new.
The professional refurbishment process, defined classifications, and warranty support also distinguish the program from purchasing an ordinary second-hand smartphone.
What’s next: vivo Philippines is continuing to offer selected smartphones through its refurbished program, giving consumers another way to access vivo devices while retaining after-sales support.
