TECNO has officially launched the POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, combining the POVA series’ performance-focused hardware with the distinctive design language of Tonino Lamborghini.
The limited-edition smartphone features a dual-chipset architecture, Sony LYTIA imaging, a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, a 6,500mAh battery, and a range of practical AI features.

The details: The POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition incorporates Tonino Lamborghini’s signature black-and-red color palette and hexagonal design elements throughout the device.
At the center of the rear panel is the Pulse Line, inspired by mechanical precision and kinetic energy, surrounded by a Signature Shield hexagonal pattern. A dual-layer construction creates additional depth, with internal mirror structures reflecting light as the phone moves.
The Tonino Lamborghini branding extends into the software, with a customized black-and-red interface, redesigned icons, a bespoke boot animation, custom ringtone, and a customized “L” signature effect for the Alive Matrix Display.
The phone retains the POVA series’ trinity camera module and adds a One-Tap Button for quick access to apps, gaming actions, and shortcuts.
At 7.39mm thin, the device houses a 6,500mAh battery. TECNO says the battery can operate normally between -20°C and 60°C and maintain over 80% health after 2,000 complete charge cycles.
The POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G platform alongside TECNO’s dedicated P1 Graphic Chip. The Dimensity 7400 Ultimate uses an 8-core architecture designed to handle gaming and multitasking while maintaining power efficiency on 5G networks.
The P1 Graphic Chip handles GPU rendering and can deliver up to 144FPS in supported titles including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG, Call of Duty, and Honor of Kings. Supported heavier games such as Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Wuthering Waves can reach up to 90FPS.
TECNO also supports 1.5K resolution across more than 30 games, as well as HDR where supported.
Keeping temperatures under control is a 5K IceShield VC Cooling System featuring a 5,000mm² vapor chamber, nine-layer thermal architecture, and direct copper contact with the CPU. The overall heat dissipation area exceeds 22,000mm².
The smartphone features a 50MP LYTIA 700C OIS main camera, co-engineered with Sony and built around a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The sensor uses 2×2 OCL technology for faster and more precise autofocus, while OIS helps reduce blur caused by hand movement and improves video stability.
The camera supports 2x lossless zoom and a dedicated 50MP high-pixel mode. An 8MP ultra-wide camera is included for landscapes and group shots, while a 13MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition features a 6.78-inch 1.5K HyperLux AMOLED display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. The panel supports the DCI-P3 wide color gamut, up to 4,500 nits peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling, and up to 2,800Hz instantaneous touch sampling.
TECNO has integrated AI features covering productivity, communication, photography, and health. AI YouTube Summary can turn copied YouTube links into structured notes with timeline markers, key points, and summaries. All-Scenario Noise Cancellation identifies the intended speaker’s voice and filters surrounding noise during calls, recordings, and meetings. For photography, AI LightMaster 2.0 removes unwanted flares, reflections, and shadows from images.
In select markets, AI Health can measure blood pressure, blood oxygen, heart rate, and respiration through a face scan. Other AI tools include AI Writing for rewriting and summarizing text and an AI Theme Generator for creating customized phone themes.
The POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and carries IP69/IP69K/IP68/IP66 dust and water resistance ratings. Wet & Oily Finger Touch Recognition 2.0 keeps the display responsive with wet, sweaty, or oily fingers. The device can also be operated through a waterproof pouch in wet conditions.
It also has SGS 5-Star Drop Resistance certification for added protection against everyday drops and impacts.
The phone runs on HiOS 16 and will receive two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches. TECNO also provides three years of free 256GB cloud storage, while eligible users in select markets can receive a three-month Google AI Plus trial with 2TB of storage.
