Verbatim expands Philippine presence through partnership with WSI

Verbatim Launch 1 1 1

Verbatim is expanding its presence in the Philippine technology market through a new strategic partnership with Wordtext Systems, Inc. (WSI), bringing its latest storage, charging, and everyday technology products closer to Filipino consumers.

The partnership was unveiled during Verbatim’s “Anywhere. Everyday.” product launch event on September 22, 2026, at Matchpoint Sports Bar & Events at SM Cherry Shaw in Mandaluyong City.

Why it matters: The partnership gives Verbatim a broader distribution network in the Philippines as the brand expands beyond its traditional data storage products into portable charging, power banks, wireless chargers, portable SSDs, and computer accessories.

WSI will serve as Verbatim’s strategic distribution partner, leveraging its reseller, retail, and e-commerce network to expand the brand’s availability across the country.

The details: Verbatim has traditionally been known for data storage products, but the company has expanded its portfolio to cover a wider range of products for modern digital lifestyles.

Under the “Anywhere. Everyday.” concept, the company is highlighting mobile charging solutions, power banks, wireless chargers, portable SSDs, and everyday computer accessories designed for users who rely on technology while working, studying, traveling, and handling other daily activities.

Through its partnership with WSI, Verbatim aims to make these products more accessible through authorized resellers and retail partners across the Philippines.

Additional retail and online availability is expected to be announced in the coming weeks as the distribution network expands.

“We are excited about the opportunities that this partnership brings for Verbatim in the Philippines. We look forward to working closely with WSI to strengthen our brand’s footprint in this growing and dynamic market, bringing Verbatim’s legacy of reliability and quality in data storage, portable computing and charging solutions to the Philippine market,” said Paul Johnson, President and COO of Verbatim Asia Pacific.

For Filipinos: The expanded distribution network will bring Verbatim’s newer product categories closer to consumers beyond its established storage lineup. The portfolio includes products aimed at mobile users, including portable storage and charging accessories.

What’s next: Verbatim and WSI are expected to expand the brand’s availability through authorized channel partners nationwide, with more retail and online locations to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Bottom Line: Verbatim’s partnership with WSI marks a renewed push into the Philippine market, combining the brand’s established storage portfolio with newer charging, power, portable storage, and everyday technology products.
