Riot Games has announced ticket availability for the upcoming Valorant Champions Tournament (VCT) Ascension Pacific tournament stage in Thailand.
Why it matters: Champions from the 10 regional Challenger leagues in APAC are about to battle for 1 seat at the VCT Pacific table. Come see which team will ascend to take their place amongst the giants of the APAC VALORANT esports world.
Who’s included in the gaming tournament: 10 teams will qualify from the Pacific Challengers leagues across the region. Qualified teams so far include the following from their respective countries:
- Japan: SCARZ
- Korea: DPLUS KIA
- Philippines: NAOS Esports
- Indonesia: Boom Esports
- Thailand: XERXIA
- Vietnam: Fancy United
- Malaysia & Singapore: BLEED Esports
- Taiwan & Hong Kong: ONE Team Esports
South Asia and Oceania teams will be announced soon.
Where the VCT Ascension Pacific Tournament is held: Ascension Pacific will be played at two different locations: Group Stages will be held from 28 June to 4 July at the Pullman Grande Sukhumvit Hotel, while the Playoffs and Grand Final will be on 7-9 July at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Tournament day matches will begin at the following times: Group Stage: 13:00 THA // 14:00 GMT+8 and Playoffs: 15:00 THA // 16:00 GMT+8
What to expect in the venues: Fans who watch the action in-person can look forward to a host of exciting offline activities. A 5v5 Valorant Experience Zone, powered by Steelcase, will be available at the Playoff venue from July 7-9.
Celebrity / Influencer show matches will also be held on July 8 and 9, where various content creators from all over the Asia-Pacific will play over a Best of 3 series. Confirmation of influencers and their schedules will be posted online in the coming days.
There will be free exclusive swag Giveaways for early birds and regular ticket holders. The Group Stage and Playoffs each have their own exclusive swag kit, which includes a drawstring bag, and folder, while playoffs stages will have a different set which includes a tote bag, folder, herbal inhaler, and bucket hat, until supplies last.
Valorant cosplayers will also be present at the Playoffs venue from July 7-9, so be sure to take photos with them!
